At the Cross

Jesus' death was remembered at the Good Friday service at St Petroc's.

Bible passages read by Rosie, were interspersed with prayers and reflections read by Rev Claire.

The congregation played their part by keeping the moments of silence and saying the responses written on a specially prepared order of service.

Glorious organ music, including the 'Passion Chorale' by J.S. Bach and the traditional hymn 'There is a green hill far away', were sensitively and skilfully played by the church's musical director.

All too soon, the church bell struck 3 o'clock and with that our hour of reflection ended, timed to perfection.
