Celebrating New Life!

On a glorious spring morning, outside St Petroc's Church, families dropped by to receive Easter Treats.

Chocolate eggs and cute little toy chicks, representing Jesus rising again on Easter Day, were joyfully received.

The children were also given a colourful cartoon booklet giving the Easter story in the form of a resurrection rhyme.

Rev Elaine offered each child the chance to write a short prayer and tie it to the wooden cross stationed on the grass bank of the church.

It was wonderful to see so many people. At least 160 eggs were taken away!
